Jay purchased his 2008 Suzuki QuadSport LTZ250 from a relative after desiring one for over a year. Following the buy, Jay created about a miles worth of trails locally in order to ride as much as possible. Kept in good shape and always garaged, this sport ATV was in good shape and prepared for plenty of miles ahead.

2014 - 2016

This ATV was driven very often. It was an amazing pass-time that connected Jay with a few things he loved, mechanics and nature. Somewhere in between the years of 2014 and 2016, the quad had been driven so often that the bottom of the steering shaft came loose. The result was re-welding the piece securely back into place and it was good to go from there. To this day, the weld is holding just fine.

When accidentally flipping the 250cc Quadsport, Jay cracked the brake lever on the left side of the handle bars. Unfortunately this is the primary brake lever used on the vehicle, so he knew it had to be replaced right away. After purchasing a new one, it was a simple fix and he got back to riding!

After an oil change, new air filter and a couple simple adjustments, Bumble Bee was ready to race in Burnout Episode 1. Expecting to lose overall, Jay took his 250cc ATV to race against Tarpey’s 400cc ATV in the first ever episode of The Burnout Show.

Here you can find Burnout Episode 1.

Both Jay and Ryan’s four wheelers make a return in Episode 3: The Mighty Gentleman. When thrashing around, Jay breaks Tarpey’s ATV. After all, what would Burnout be if it weren’t for stupid mistakes.

Ryan and Jay took an ATV adventure to central Maine. They followed 53 miles of trails, attempting to navigate their way through and eventually staying the night at Shin Pond Village in Mt Chase Maine. After staying at a campground (pictured on the right), they made the 53 mile voyage back the following day.

Jay ran into a few issues with the carburetor not being set correctly. The engine was running rough due to the wrong mixture betweeen air and gas. When pulling off the 2008 original carburetor, gaskets had been swelled and bolts stripped. He determined that it was best to purchase a new carb.

You can see this carburetor replacement in this Burnout Extra.
